When it comes to nutrition and the ability to nourish a mind or body, it is paramount to know what is used to do so. GMO's are useless and nutrition-less. While your body can absorb nutrition for the modified organisms there is a cost. That cost is a plethora of disease. A human body system has evolved to process natural foods found in the environment not genetically modified ones created in a lab. While certain modifications have proved to be useful like in the case of IR36, which is a type of rice that grows in many types water and drought conditions and blossoms in larger scales which allows for more people to be fed in more stringent conditions. The ends do not justify the means. Natural whole foods are possible to be grown and harvested on a large scale. Humans have been doing this since the dawn of time. It wasn't till certain corporations(Monsanto being one of the worst) found ways to edge a profit from these GMO's that they were initiated large scale for use in order to form a new industry and control global food markets.
